Quality Assurance and Testing Laboratories

A State-of-the-art quality testing labs are provided to ensure quality products. Quality assurance is most crucial function in a modern wholesale market covering post-harvest activities, public health, classification and standardization of the produce and administering complaints’ redressal system. The labs have also equipment for phyto-sanitary certification for export of the produce to other countries. The major functions of these labs are:

  • Development of quality standards, grades, packaging etc.
  • Inspection of cargo for classification, grades and guidance to the operational department on conditioning of cargo
  • Introduction of quality assurance systems including HACCP, ISO
  • Development of complaint redressal system, i.e. relating to farmers’ complaints regarding difference of opinion on the grades assigned and buyers’ complaints regarding grades being other than as declared in the auction
  • Training of the field staff and farmers on grading, sorting and packaging
  • Co-Ordination with other markets and national organizations for developing grades and standards.
  • Study consumers’ preferences; research and development on growing, varieties and quality parameters
    The QA labs have all the modern equipment like HPLC, GLC, centrifuges, titrators and water analyzers in addition to supporting equipment. A total lump sum budget of Rs. 80 lacs has been planned for this purpose.

Developed Industrial Plots For Lease To Industries

To create critical infrastructure and plug gaps in supply chain, the park has fully developed Industrial plots in varying sizes for long term lease to Entrepreneurs, as per the need and requirement of the client. All the plots are well-equipped with established supply chains to maximize profit.
The plots are being offered @ 6.00 per sq. ft. per month with provisions of enhancement on mutually agreed terms.

Fully Operational Sheds for Lease To SMEs

These sheds are being offered to Entrepreneur’s @ `10.00 per Sq. ft. per month ,with provisions of enhancement on mutual terms.
Our sheds are engineered for durability, our industrial sheds have been built with superior quality material to provide superlative protection and security. Coated for weather resistance, the sheds are already installed and functional.

 

 

IMFPL offers use of Utility Services & other Infrastructure support as per prevailing Industry norms on mutually agreed norms to the Plot/ Shed holders which are –Operational Sheds

It would help Farmers in getting the highest possible price for their products, and also plans on providing them E-Marketing facility inn order to bring them to a bigger horizon by connecting them with the National Commodity Markets

Marketing Facility for Industries / SME's

To help in setting up the Marketing & Sales organization structure - identity, select, recruit & induct competent manpower, suitable for each specific industry needs.

Help & assist in launching of products and Brands from start-up to market dominance. This would include the entire process from - product development, packaging, branding, pricing, promotion & distribution.

Setting up of Distribution channels will be given special attraction as this is the most critical tasks in food product sales. Develop a long-term marketing Strategy for growth & assist in its implementation.
